Daal Fry

Ingredients: Chana Dal 1 cup, Water 3 cups, National Turmeric Powder 1⁄2 tsp (boil), Oil 2 tablespoon, Onion chopped, Cinnamon Stick, Tomatoes, chopped Crushed red chili, National Shahi Dal Masala National Chat Masala Ginger, Cilantro Green chilies Butter.
Method: 1⁄2 cup 1, 2inch 1 cup, 1⁄2 teaspoon for garnish for garnish 1 tablespoon, 1 1⁄2 tablespoon 1 1⁄2 teaspoon for garnish, Soak chana dal in 2 cups of water for an hour, Strain and add 1 cup of water, To this add turmeric and bring to a boil ( do not over boil), Strain excess water if is there any, In a sauté pan add oil, To this add cinnamon stick, green chili and National Ginger Garlic Paste and cook for 30 sec, Add chopped tomatoes, crushed red chili, National Shahi Dal Masala and cook to tomatoes softens, Add boiled channa dal, National Chat Masala, ginger, cilantro and green chilies and cook on high heat for few minutes. Serve with butter.
